Stalwarts of Speakeasy Stage

Light spilled out from the door, casting sordid shadows on the threshold. The door wasn’t open, as you might expect when light is spilling from a speakeasy door. No, this door let the light spill, inside to out, from heaven on one side of theĀ streaked glass to the dreary workaday world on t’other. The light beckoned harried passers by, promising magical experiences to delight the senses. This, my friends, was the Speakeasy Stage. No tiny peephole to peer through, no passwords to utter.
