Wow! The world certainly has a different feel today! I got all caught up in the excitement yesterday, and delayed this post to today. Friday, June 26, 2015, here forward known as “Equality Day”, was a massive step forward in the fight for civil rights. I say (perhaps a bit tongue in cheek) that this was a good week in which to have had a fairy-based Midsummer Stage. 😉 Paying tribute, of course, to William Shakespeare. So, there’s a new doll in town. Newly crafted from bits of lace and fabric, old gloves and stockings, and held together with thread and pins. Now, what could all those pins be for? There are certainly more than enough to hold the doll’s bits and pieces together! Hmm, food for thought?

Twice in one month. That’s got to be some kind of record for me! Well, it was Memorial Day! What better way to remember all our fallen veterans than exercising the freedoms they fought and died for? I hope if there’s a soldier or sailor in your life that you’ll treasure that person. Give her a hug, or a healthy punch on the shoulder!
